N.I.S.P. PHILOSOPHY
N.I.S.P.
believes in the importance of education and community
service – that individually and collectively, “WE CAN
MAKE A DIFFERENCE”! We further believe it is important
to have a harmonious and radiant inner spirit that wishes
to give to others because there is a real need and desire.
We need candidates who are aware and ask, “ What can I
give”? We want our candidates to give back to their
community, as well as in other communities. We are looking
for candidates who own a positive attitude, can speak with
confidence and poise and are are able to move with grace,
self-assurance and aspire to be a role model in their
communities. If you're chosen as a “Crowned Community
Ambassador”, please consider the commitment you and/or
your daughter are undertaking to N.I.S.P. before accepting
the responsibility. We promise a fun-filled, fabulous
year!

N.I.S.P. is
one of the most rewarding programs based in Northern
Illinois. N.I.S.P. is a program with a pageant in Illinois
that embraces the importance of community service. Our
R.E.A.C.H. program, which stands for: Responsibility,
Educating our youth, Achieving goals, Commitment, and
Helping others was designed to teach the importance of
community service.
Our yearly pageant is NOT a beauty pageant! We take pride
in our youth – their goals and achievements. We are looking for genuine,
sincere, congenial citizens that want to “Make a
Difference” by giving to and sharing with others.
In the last 10 years of having our program, our
titleholders as well as our Ambassadors have donated over
13,000 hours to communities in Northern Illinois and
Southern Wisconsin!
Our program is a yearlong commitment and should be taken
with great pride.
We also
offer "Community Ambassador" and "Royal
Ambassador" programs.
The "Community Ambassador" program is for anyone
that wants to participate without the pressures or
competing in the pageant. Our "Royal Ambassador"
program is for any previous royalty with NISP that wants
to continue with our program once she has past her title
on.
